Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib (Preventive and Social Medicine) is imparting health education at the Under graduate levels. The department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib also imparts training to the Interns in relation to the routine immunization, field survey, data collection and statistical analysis.
The department is covering the subject of Nutrition, Epidemiology, Multidimensional aspects of Pollutions, Environmental Studies, Communicable & Non Communicable Diseases, Demography, Maternal Health, Family Planning, Neonatal Care and Geriatrics. The related section of the Museum is equipped with all type of health & fitness related sophisticated equipments including charts and models.
This department also imparting education of Tibbe Qanooni wa Ilmus Samoom (Forensic Medicine & Toxicology) which is covering illustrative knowledge on the subject of Forensic Anthropology, Forensic Entomology, thanatlogy, dactylography, modes of deaths, all sorts of injuries (Including Firearm Injuries), Procedure of Postmortem and Toxicology. This department is also imparting the advance and latest knowledge of Forensic Medicine at UG level. The Forensic Medicine Section of the department Museum has a huge collection of charts, models, human skeleton, plant origin poisons, specimens of different verities of snakes, scorpions, lizards and poisonous bees.
In terms of faculty, The Department is composed of one associate professor and two assistant professors.
